Eva is powered by WBA’s knowledge, experience and the trust that global industries across the world place in WBA’s methodologies. eva, however, is a new effort meant to catalyse change and improve the sustainability practices of small, medium and large companies around the world looking to take sustainability into their own hands.
Why did WBA launch the eva platform?
Over the years, WBA received many requests from companies, investors and stakeholders not part of the SDG2000, but who still wanted to measure their sustainability practices. eva heeds the call for a new way to employ the learnings of the WBA methodologies across industries and companies.
What are eva’s methodologies based on?
Eva’s methodologies are the same as those of WBA, which leverage the best international norms and standards. Companies who are starting out on their sustainability journey, or who want to improve their sustainability practices, can now do so using same methodologies used to assess the 2000 most influential global companies.
What topics are evaluated by eva?
Currently, eva assesses companies using the Core Social Indicators, a crucial part of all WBA benchmarks. The whole of the Social assessment will be included in the beta version, along with the Climate methodology.

Will I receive any kind of certification if I complete an Eva evaluation?
We don’t provide a certification. We invite you to use your score as a guide for improvement. In the future, we will offer a feature to connect you with the right people to put this in practice. Stay tuned!
How long will the evaluation take?
As you begin the eva-luation process, we will inform you about what documents where companies usually report the type of information we ask for. If you already have these documents on hand, the process may take a short time. Otherwise, you will get a notion of what’s missing and can prioritise based on that.
An evaluation depends on the availability of the information.
